David Joron is a Toronto-based artist and Professor of painting and digital arts. After completing formal training at The Vermont College of Fine Art (MFA), The Ontario College of Art and Design (Drawing & Painting, with honors), the University of Toronto (Art History) and Sheridan College Institute (Multimedia Design) he has exhibited extensively in the context of community arts organizations, commercial and public galleries and international art fairs in Canada and the United States. He is included in Carte Blanche Volume 2: Painting and has been mentioned in such publications as The Globe and Mail, The Toronto Star, C Magazine, Canadian House and Home and Canadian Art Magazine. As a professor at Sheridan College Institute, he is heavily involved in curriculum development and media-based practices.
